Petland has a wonderful staff and puppy selection. They were helpful during the whole process and I would recommend getting a puppy from here.

Purchased a puppy in October. Long story short she is not a quality dog so her AKC paperwork cannot be accepted, and she has been diagnosed with seizures (she is not even a year old) and some other neurological issues that cause fly snapping and confusion (she’s getting a full brain scan next month). We are currently looking to obtain a lawyer. They promise quality and health but you have to go broke buying overpriced food and treats in order to maintain their “puppy for life” program and they obviously don’t follow up on their breeders because our shiba is a mess, physically and mentally. Never never never buy from a pet store, do not spend $6000 on a puppy just to be met with a lifetime of issues that they’re not even willing to reimburse you for. Don’t learn the hard way like I did. Petland does not care about their puppies, idc what they say in person DONT DO IT! There are plenty of local breeders where you can actually meet the parents and not waste a small fortune to support an extremely crooked company.

The staff is always friendly here. We go at least once a month. My daughter previously had a hamster from PetSmart for four years and it passed away. So we went just last night to pick out a new one. They had tons of hamster's however I think sales are down. I have noticed the store smelling worse than normal. My oldest daughter found a hamster that she thought was blind. While looking at it the assistant came over and come to find out it had wet tail. Thankfully it was the only one in it's habitat. They took it to the back to treat it. The new one my other daughter picked out was in a complete different bunch.
They have so many hamster's right now that they are many almost full grown.
I think it's still better than PetSmart but I feel the cleanliness of the shop has went down hill. Especially for the hamster's. Wet tail is highly contagious and I'm concerned that noone noticed that poor sick hamster.
I hope our new little guy stays healthy.
I think like alot of places perhaps under staffed and low sales are causing issues. They really should run like a $10 special on these hamster's though and find them home's. There are at least 10 of them pretty much full grown, that's how long they have had them and they are breeding in store and that's not good if you have inner breeding.
I hope to see improvement when we visit again in a couple of weeks. If not I will have to stop doing business here just like we did at PetSmart.Crystal Mitts

We bought a German shepherd a lil bit ago from this place and it turns out the dog isn’t even breed standard, she’s too tall not heavy enough and tail is way to short. For an animal that cost 5,000$ even more after I had to take her to the vet because she wasn’t gaining weight and turned out she was riddled with worms and other things hips are poor and what not. There is nothing they well do even with there lifetime guarantee. Such a shame.
