The bettas were in absolutely horrible conditions. All cups (about 10) had water that was horrendous..cloudy and brown. They all had a LOT of food pellets just rotting at the bottom (big ammonia source which kills fish) and a lot of food spilled all over the tops of the lids--overfeeding. One betta was obviously over fed with a huge stomach.
They either need to completely overhaul their care standards and practices or stop selling bettas!

The staff while friendly knows little about the animals that they sell. We were misquoted a price and the food we purchased was full of worms and moths. If they weren't the only store with the type of critter I wanted, I would have gone elsewhere.
