I looked all over town for a specific kind of guinea pig and finally found them at this location. I just purchase him on 12/11/2021, lots of different food items, enrichment toys, bedding, and everything else a guinea pig requires (~$400 in supplies). After bringing him home, I noticed one of them was keeping one eye closed and it seemed to be leaking fluid. When I opened its eye, it was all cloudy and clearly there was something wrong. I called the store within thirty minutes of the purchase and they stated that once the animal leaves the store, there can be no returns and the animal can’t be brought back. I asked if they would pay for any medications required to treat his eye if I paid for the medical exam, but they refused. They did say however, that once he dies they will allow me to take another one….. Buyers beware, they care more about the money than the wellbeing and health of their animals. I guess I’m not surprised from a puppy mill. If you’re debating buying a dog from here, beware! The cost of treating dogs for pre-existing medical conditions can become VERY expensive!
